Dr George Awwad

Dr George Awwad joined Medical HQ Glynde as a visiting consultant in 2022.
Dr Awwad is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in sports injuries and joint replacement, particularly of the knee and hip. A keen sportsperson himself, Dr Awwad has worked with professional sports teams including the New South Wales Waratahs Super Rugby Union team and the Newcastle Knights Rugby League team during his time in New South Wales.
Dr George Awed attends Medical HQ clinics on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He specialises in:

As well as a well-respected knee and hip surgeon, Dr Awwad is an Associate Clinical Lecturer of The University of Adelaide and is involved in several research projects.
